What to bring to the workshop? Bring along 3 or so doublespaced pages to read aloud for appreciation and responses. This can be a new beginning, a revision - anything you want to share for feedback. And of course bring something to write on/with. Also, bring a brown bag lunch. We will have coffee and snacks waiting for you. It will be a fun, meaningful time.
Reading Good Naked by Joni B. Cole prior to the workshop is highly recommended. It is not only fun and entertaining but also a great primer for the workshop. The book can be ordered at: www.jonibcole.com

Joni's new book Good Naked: Reflections on How to Write More, Write Better, and Be Happier is included in Poets & Writers magazine's list of “Best Books for Writers, and she is the author of the acclaimed book Toxic Feedback: Helping Writers Survive and Thrive (“I can't imagine a better guide to [writing's] rewards and perils than this fine book,” American Book Review ). Joni is also the author of Another Bad-Dog Book: Essays on Life, Love, and Neurotic Human Behavior , and the three-volume “This Day” series which invited hundreds of women across America and from all walks of life to share the reality of their daily lives.
